2004 Taiji Legacy Thank you for visiting my BLOG for the 2004Taiji Legacy. My attempt is mainly to share with my students the experience of the Taiji Legacy and how much benefit they can get from attending. The is my first BLOG and will take me a little while to get everything up but it will include video so if you competed please check back. I did manage to get almost 5 hours of video from competitors so you might be here too. All videos have been reduced for shorter download and are Windows Media Player files. Video 1 - Mi Jin Pei - Click Here
The above video was taken by a student of mine, Jennifer S. She took Mi Jin Pei's workshop on Wushu Fan ( Xi Yang Hong Jian Shen Gong Fu Shan, A modern single fan form created at the Beijing Wushu University) at the 2004 Taiji Legacy. Description from Chin Woo website: Mi Jin Pei was born in Beijing in 1961 and has over 30 years' experience in Long Fist and Taiji. Beginning at age 11, she trained with the Beijing Wushu Team inside the Shi Cha Hai Ye Yu Ti Shiao wushu school under Master Li Jun Fung. She is a two-time Chinese national champion in long fist, straight sword and double hook, and is certified as a 7th degree coach of the Beijing Wushu Team. During her coaching career she has trained various national wushu teams around the world, most recently in Japan and the Philippines. Currently she is a coach of the modern long fist training program at the Houston Shaolin Temple. Video 3 - Jennifer S. doing the first part of the above form right after the workshop: Click Here

By the age of 11, Master Xing Ying was qualified as one of the very few instructors allowed to instruct Shaolin kung Fu on behalf of the the temple. In 1994, Master Shi Xing Ying won the honorable title of The Grand Champion of Shaolin Kung-Fu in China, a world re-known competition. The elements of this staff's form are a combination of dian, liao, yun guen, wu hua, and pi.
