I had the honor of taking a "Permit to Carry" certification course offered by Master Beaver at Santamaria's Karate in Austin Texas. Not only is Master Beaver a certified firearms instructor but he also has a strong karate organization that goes directly to over 25 local schools to bring the benefits of martial arts training directly to where it is needed the most, our public schools.

Master Greg Beaver: Mr. Beaver started learning karate in 1973, receiving his black belt in 1977. His current ranking is 5th degree black belt. The Austin ASK program began in 1983; currently the organization has 40+ certified brown and black belt instructors who assist with the program.
