Dear Mr. Gohring, Mr. Green and Ms Peters:

Thank you for providing the opportunity to experience Tai Chi. The health benefits I have experienced and continue to improve upon are numerous. When I first started doing the Chi Kung poses, I immediately notice how difficult it was for me to breath through my nose I have allergies and I am always congested. However, after the first week of my 2nd month, I notice that I started breathing so much easier and I am now nowhere as congested as I used to be. Learning how to breathe slowly all the way down to my diaphragm is something I am still learning, but I can feel the improvements I am making.

Another health benefit I am experiencing is that I am more in tune with my body and find my self adjusting my posture and breathing more as I am doing my daily activities. Especially, when I am standing while cooking and sitting at the computer. I did not realize how often I would hold my breath and hold on to tension in my upper torso.

I feel energized the majority of the time after class and find that I have the much more energy to complete what I have to do for the rest of day.

Tai Chi will be a part of my lifestyle that I plan to continue for my lifetime!
