Why like Tai Chi.

I began doing Tai Chi as a fitness exercise that would keep me in shape through the latter half of my life. I wasn't sure I'd have the discipline to stick with it, but I've been able to continue because Tai Chi is relaxing and fun.

A Tai Chi practice session leaves me feeling refreshed and renewed. Practicing the form gives my mind something to focus on that keeps it from thinking about the stresses in my life, and yet it doesn't require the type of mental focus that is stressful itself. Doing the movements of the form seems to guide breath and energy through me and sooth my mind and body.
