Dear Sifu:
Before I joined Tom Gohring's School of T'ai Chi, I had job stress. Bringing that home and not knowing how to deal with it sometimes made me not very nice to be around. After I joined I quickly noticed that dealing with stress was much easier to do because it was virtually gone! It made me feel like always looking forward to the next class. I think that along with the postures, it was also the breathing which was good for me. Concentrating on timing the movements with my breathing was very relaxing. T'ai Chi has made me feel relaxed and very good about myself and what I am doing. Also, just learning how to better cope with the stresses of everyday life is a relief.
